Meet Terry - The Maker Behind the Magic

Hi!  I’m Terry, the hands, heart, and creative mind behind 
Handmade by TerryM.

What began as a simple love for sewing has grown into a joyful small business
dedicated to creating beautiful, high quality clothing for little ones. Every piece is
designed and handmade in my Sydney home sewing room, where I carefully choose
fabrics, cut each pattern, and sew every stitch with intention.

I’ve always believed that children’s clothing should be comfortable, durable, and
special. Something that feels good to wear, lasts through play, and carries a little bit
of magic. That is why I create limited run pieces using premium fabrics — so your
child can wear something truly unique, made with love rather than mass produced.

My Philosophy

How It All Began

My sewing journey started many years ago, creating outfits for my own family.
Friends began asking for custom pieces, then friends of friends… and before long,
Handmade by TerryM was born. What started at my kitchen table has grown into a
thriving small business, supported by wonderful customers who value handmade
quality.

Today, I continue to sew every piece myself — from the first cut to the final press —
ensuring the same level of care that sparked this journey in the first place.
